Mathletes win at the Junior High Math Super Bowl
Math and Engineering were highlighted at the annual junior high Math Super Bowl. Individuals and school teams earned awards. Teams of students had to build a tower at least 2 feet tall out of 100 3x5 cards and 12 inches of tape. The tower had to be strong enough to support a beanie bear.  Fesler Junior High’s 7th grade team and Arellanes JH’s 8th grade team won the overall JH Math Super Bowl grade level competitions. McKenzie JH students from Guadalupe won BOTH the 7th and 8th grade tower building challenges. Congrats, mathletes!
